GENERAL INFORMATION

Your camper will be active for the majority of the day and may be hungrier than usual, so be sure to pack a nutritious lunch, a minimum of two snacks and a reusable water bottle.

As accidents can happen very quickly, we recommend that you send spare clothes and socks in the backpack.

We will also spend a lot of time outdoors; it is therefore important that your child has sunscreen at all times.

If your child has a food allergy, please bring two (2) epipens to camp. Your child should keep one epipen with them at all times (in a fanny pack) and we’ll keep the other in our first aid kit, which is always close at hand.

Sick campers are asked to stay home. We do not want the sickness to spread to other campers.

If your child has symptoms such as fever or vomiting during their day at camp, we will contact you and/or the emergency contact indicated during registration. You will be asked to pick up your child.

No refunds, credits or make-up days are provided for sickness or vacation.

No, we are a day camp.

If we decide to offer special night activities, these will be communicated to you by our coordinators.

Personal toys, cell phones, and other electronic devices must be left at home. We ask for your cooperation in this matter to prevent items from being lost or damaged during camp activities.

If a camper brings a phone or toy despite this policy, it will be kept by the staff for safety reasons and returned to the parent or guardian at the end of the day.

If you need to communicate with your child during the day, or if we need to contact you, this will be done through the on-site camp coordinator. All team members can be reached at 613-764-4444 by selecting the appropriate extension.

Our campers participate in a variety of dynamic activities that promote social interaction, engagement, and fun. By limiting  distractions, we aim to provide a safe, supportive environment that allows for a fully enriching camp experience.

We accept group changes. However, in the case of an age difference, the older child will need to join the younger group. That said, campers have several free periods during which they can socialize with their friends.

Our camps offer a bilingual immersion environment. Activities are first presented in French and then translated for English-speaking campers. In addition, many of our campers do not understand English, making French the primary language of communication.

Yes. The shirt is mandatory and can be obtained at the reception of each camp. The cost is $15.

The shirt is only necessary for Thursday outings. This helps identify children quickly in public.

There is always the possibility that the outings and activities change depending on the weather, the availability of the companies, the number of children present and the cost associated with the whole activity. There will always be a similar alternative.

The best place to stay up to date on camp information is on our Facebook page. All of our important updates and information are posted there first.

No, it is not necessary. You may drop off and pick up your child at the time that is most convenient for you. However, on field trip days, buses leave the site at 9:00 a.m. and return around 3:30 p.m. It is therefore important that your child arrives before 8:45 a.m. The bus will leave whether your child has arrived or not. If you miss the bus, you will need to keep your child at home for the day, as no staff member will remain on site.

Before the start of the summer, all of our counsellors participate in comprehensive staff training covering a wide range of topics. These include risk management, first aid and emergency procedures, bullying prevention, group dynamics, behaviour management, as well as activity planning and facilitation.

Ongoing supervision and mentorship are provided throughout the summer by experienced supervisors and leadership team  members. These leaders also receive specialized training from  senior members of the executive team to ensure they are well  prepared to carry out their responsibilities effectively, professionally, and responsibly.

At all times, at least one person on site holds a valid CPR  certification. In addition, all staff members aged 18 and over are required to provide a criminal record check prior to the start of  camp.
